Videos!!

Hello everyone!

Today I’m going to talk you about two videos online in English that are very interesting for me, this videos was found by my boyfriend, he always lost time in the internet xD he watches videos and on the weekend he shows me all the funny and original videos to watch them together.
The first video is about a singer called Tim Minchin (this isn’t his only talent)…it’s a little bit long, but it's very funny! It's a kind of parody about his life, and how he finished being singer and playing piano, and how he isn’t a rock star, as he dreamed when he was a little boy, but if you think, he finished being a good professional on this music and making something that is very different, because all his music is like a parody, he is a musician but with humor too, and a lot of times…he say things that are true, but that the people never look, inside of them or in the others.

The second video is about something new, it’s a video about three men that will throw a human-shaped plane, it gives the sensation that three people are flying in the air on New York city, the impression is that it's true people, and  the music put from his part too; the result is….a feeling of liberation. This video is more like something creative that other thing, for this I choose it.

Brasilia

This is a correction for a Sebastian's post:

(Original)
In 2010, I had the opportunity to visit one of the most relevant metropolis in the modern architecture’s history, the Brazil’s capitol, Brasilia.

I traveled with a bunch of FAU’s students, some of them my best friends, and  take us a lot of hours to arrive because of the bad airline organization (worst airline ever).

One of the main reasons for my visit was the Latin-American encounter of architecture’s students, a massive celebration which each year congregate thousands of young people around the same topic, architecture/urbanism. But, obviously, a lot of young stressed students cannot only talk about their careers, so parties were a must.
The daily schedule was divided between seminaries, workshops, forums, guided visits and parties, so we were active all the time for a period of 7 days (yeah, a whole week). That give us the chance to learn how actually work a modern city and most important, meet people from all over the continent, from Brazilians to Peruvians, Paraguayans etc., contacts that continue even today.

London Webquest!

Hi!!!
Today, I will talk about the activity that the last week we made called Webquest, about London and the places we can visit, we planned and tabulated places for one week, evaluating touristic locations for an end of year study trip!

I think that the activity was very different, in particular, for me was very difficult because I don’t use to visit those sites because I understand the half xD but the last week I think that I efforted for contextualize in the topic that say in each page. The difficult part was that, but when I saw the content, the touristic attractive, it was easier and entertaining because I go discovering the tours and trips; and it´s very distracting, more when I choose the career for the love to the places and landscapes…an activity like this is very interesting :D in spite of the part that I was very slow and that’s frustrating xD but if you see the sites I think that it was very good made, and each entry has been very well constructed and its (for me) slightly fast to found the information that the table requires, like the prices or the tube station nearest to the location…. Although I didn´t finished D: because the underground train in London is a little BIG xD and finding the area of the station is complicated and, regretabbly, me? Putting little information?? the edition of the info is not the mine! but I have trust that with the practice I’ll improve my capacity to do internet searches in english =)

I’ve always known London as a city with a old architecture and culture, with his typicals red buses with two decks, and his characteristic red telephone booth, with places asociated with fashion and famous people like Soho or some things that I’ve heard about the royal family and his Buckingham Palace in London, his royals activities...the Scotland Yard...however, many other things about this city, and this activity changes my mind because it presents to me, other types or places more refreshing and innovative, like museums as Madame Toussaud's! a very interesting and funny place!!! and others places for visiting that made me wish to visit London :B
