Dorito

Hi!!

Today, I'm going to tell you about something that I need to say, because these weeks has been really busy and I can't think on this topic...well, I'm going to talk about Dorito, my pet. Regrettably, Dorito has died 2 weeks ago and I felt so bad, because this hamster depended on me, and I felt so guilty for not being there in that moment...I dont know, I guess that, at least, he was heat and he didn't suffer u.u

Dorito was a very restless hamster, in his youth he ran in his circle and he made a racket everynight! =) He was a very fussy eater, he only ate sunflower's seeds because He disliked the hard things, if you gave him hard food, he put it on the water, and only thinking in that after, maybe, he would eat... only if his favorite food have finished.

I used to say that Dorito was like Peter Pettigrew of Harry Potter, because, one day, he came to my room from the nothing, and without one finger. Since that day I tried to protect and love him, and, until he was despirited I think that he was very old, and his life was longer that the normal...but I had the hope that only he would being hibernating =( but not...I'm so sad for this and I feel lonely and when I hear a sound I think: ohh, is Dorito playing, but then I remember everything...but well, it doesn't matter, I will have him in my memories and I will remember his personality with happiness...

I hope that everyone have a partner like this, or had it in the past because I think that it's so beautiful to have a connection with an animal that we love too much ♥

American History X

Hello everyone!!-

Today I'm going to talk you about my favorite movie! It's very complicated for me to choose only one! But among the movies of the Nazi ideology that I like; I think that the best is American History X. This is a North American film directed by Tony Kaye at 1998. The first time that I saw it, it marked me...for the cruelty and the willpower of the principal character's convictions, although I saw it when I was an adolescent with a right mind.

The film shows the story of Derek Vinyard (starring by Edward Norton :P), this guy is a Nazi for complete, and he lives in a racist neighborhood with an evident differentiation between people with black and white race. One day, in the evening, a black men try to steal his car and he, when he notice this, go out and shoot him, and the thief dies. Derek go to prison, and he left his brother with the legacy of hate, it surrounded by many situations of conflicts in the neighborhood. When Derek is in the jail, it changes his mentality for coexist with tolerance inside the prison, and he met many friendly people of other races, while the Nazi guys betrayed him...this is the beginning of the change.

When this men go out from the jail, he go to his home and he confront the situation that the people that before were his friends, now thinks very different to him, they believe in the racism, and Derek can't stand the brother's ideology. He tries to show the reality to his little brother and change his thinking, and he did it, but before that he can do anything, his brother dies in school...it fell into the hands of the enemy; a black gang, before that he could explain that he wasn't a racist now u.u (I cried so much in this part of the film...xD how a half hour after the end xD jakaj) I like this movie because I think that it's very dramatic, but with pure reality...I love it!! and I cry very much...that deserve my respects jaja furthermore, the film is starring by Edward Norton, I like this actor and his work!

My favorite band! ♫

Today, I´d like to tell you about my favorite band! In the beginning, I listened their music because my friend's brother was a “metalhead” and he has a band of aggro metal. When I go to their house I listened this one and I began to like it me! This band was System of A down, better known as SOAD! *O*

I began to go to the cyber to listen their music and check YouTube for see them in live concerts! I felt in love with the bassist immediately! jaja but Chavo Odadjian didn´t capture for long time…as time goes by, I appreciated their music much more, I think that the best of SOAD is their style! It´s a kind of metal with a touch of psychedelic rocks, funk, jazz, and many others genres of music!! It´s the difference with the other bands…that SOAD isn´t categorized.

SOAD show their Armenian and Lebanese traditions, but with speech of North American citizen, with thematics like the pornography, the war, infantile mistreatment or sexism. I like it how they express their dissatisfaction with the society and how the band mix the music for this.

Sometimes, I think that it´s a unique and irreproducible combination that, in the time when the band decided  to separate, was very missed! In 2011 they went to Chile for a farewell tour, after many time without playing together. SOAD played the favorites songs of the people (I like all songs!!! xD but I would say that my favorite song is Toxicity), and sang Daron Malakian and Serj Tankian!! It was very magic because was raining that day, and it was outdoors! =D I bought the ticket of more near of the stage! Haha I couldn't lose it!! The concert was cool!

A picture!!

Hi everyone!

Today, I will talk about this picture because, for me, it represents a very important moment, It´s not a “special” picture (in a aesthetics way), but I remember it like a very quiet and nice moment. I took this photo and it shows my boyfriend (and my best friend) in O’higgins Park, where is the lagoon with ducks in a kind of island, in a very private place, where you can be very comfortable and you can interact with the ducks when they go out from the lake.

I think that this picture represents all that very beautiful moment with my boyfriend and when we can be together (he live so far u.u), this day in particular he went to my college to found me and we went to the park to lunch, I remember that we sat down in a big rock to talk and enjoy the place, when began to rain…it was very magic! I really enjoyed this day, although I remember that it was at Friday in first year of my career and I escaped from class xD! But well…never mind, I don´t feel remorse for that =) we still save a piece of paper of when he drew me that day! *O* I´m in love of this moment, and this picture!!

The technology!!

Today I will talk about the technology, especially, about my computer, you can think that it’s very basic, when you to compare it with the new telephones and IPod, Palms, etc., and many others things! But I’m very traditional with the technology xD For me, my computer is everything. I got it seven years ago, when the notebook was a new technology and very expensive. In the beginning I didn’t know how to use it but with the time I learnt.

My parents gave me this one in my B-day and since that day I don’t release it! I like my computer because I think the technology, today, is very treacherous, the pieces has obsolescence and my computer has make in times when the things last much yet.

I like my computer because it's portable, but it’s not small like the netbook! My life without it would be horrible! I wouldn’t talk with my boyfriend every night  for a long time; I’d use the telephone many hours! I´d go to the cyber for the works of the college! And I´d watch TV for the episodes of mi favorite’s series! And wait for this one! D: I use the computer everyday and my life without it would be disastrous!

BBC learning English!

Hi! Today I’m going to talk about this page http://www.bbc.co.uk/worldservice/learningenglish/, the BBC´s learning English! Generally, I never visit pages like this, I use the computer to talk and watch videos xD but I liked this page, It has motivated me!

I think that the difference with the others pages is the form that this page teaches because it's very interactive! and this is very important for the student, because sometimes is so boring to study, even more when it's a thing in another language…. and others methods are always welcomed.

Game "Beat the Keeper"

In my opinion, “The Flatmates” has interesting contents as the game “Beat the Keeper” that foments to learn and understand about the topic that the game asks, but in a funny way. The page has videos, activities and quizzes for practice, and material for teachers too! I've found a Geography quiz!! And you can find quizzes about the topic of your interest.

The page is very easy to navigate, and it's very didactic, and it has pronunciations tips and other support for the people…It's a very recommended site =)

A place...Cobquecura

Hello everybody!-

Today I want to tell you about Cobquecura, in the south of Chile. I'm going to talk about this one because it's my favorite place! and unfortunately, at 2010, Cobquecura was the earthquake center and it was destroyed. I went to this place for the first time when I was a little girl, but the last time was at 2008, before the disaster. 

When I went to Cobquecura, I only wanted to be with my family (my little brother and my parents) in a quiet place on vacation...but as time goes by, I discovered that it was a beautiful place with unknown landscapes and wonderful people, I enjoyed it so much!

This town is a very rural and quiet place... there was the first time that I felt my empathy with the nature, a very essential thing in my degree. I remember that when I went, I enjoyed the beach and fields...and I felt in peace :) 

I hope you can visit that beautiful place someday!
